I recently upgraded to the blackberry storm with desktop manager 4.7. I was able to synchronize the calendar to Notes 7.0.1 the first time through. The second time I received a Notes error about the Notes API, but there were no details. I searched through the Notes log files to find reference to that error without success.
Since then the bb desktop manager refuses to synch the calendar (the address book synchs fine) and the desktop manager crashes after reading in all of my Notes entries, but before passing them to the bb.
I have debugged the calendar entries to look for bad entries (this has been a past problem), but it appears that EVERY entry is bad. 6.5 hours on the phone with bb, including successfully creating a new Notes calendar for import led them to conclude that my Notes database was corrupted. Restored Notes from the network. Synch failed…
Help!! Has anyone come across this issue recently? Is there any way to figure out if something in the API corrupted my files?
In the hope of at least getting entries into my calendar, I “invited” my personal e-mail account to the meeting. I tried to open the meeting acceptance reply in Notes and got the following error: “Field: ‘tmpUseLongDate’: Incorrect data type for operator or @Function: Time/Date expected”
ran nfixup, nupdall & ncompact…same result
