Birthday's in Contacts

Hello,

I am the technical support for Lotus Notes at a College. Today I received a ticket asking how to attach Birthdays with contacts. I checked the help topics in the client and it

“Birthdays and Anniversaries - A list of birthdays and anniversaries, sorted by date. This view is populated only if you provide a birthday or anniversary date for a contact.”

However, when I check the contact fields there is no such field.

How can I resolve this problem and input a birthday/anniversary with a contact?

Just click “other information” there you’ll get the mentioned fields.

Subject: How to sort birthdays on date…??

I am not able to sort the birthday list on date field…however i can do on name column which is of no use. If i can sort it on birth date…i can browse what all birthdays will be in next month and so…How can i do this ?

Second thing, there is no notifications for upcoming birthdays. It would be nice to have these feature, so that we can really use this birthday feature under contacts.
