I m looking for a technote where IBM advises to use a platform (iseries-aix) rather then other
Or a stats where all platform are compared and one is better than other

Could it be that AIX is an IBM product and this is why the recommend it…
But I will agree; find Aix the best platform.

I would say System i is the best platform.
But you’re going to have someone respond that each platform is the best. For us to help you more, could you provide more information? Are you currently a Domino customer? What platform do you currently run? What are you planning on doing with Domino - just mail and calendaring or are you looking at applications?

No, I m Domino administrator, but the problem is thst I would need to our customer an official IBM Technote, where one platform are better than other ,preferably on WIN OS
I have asked something like that becasue I remember that in the past when I attended to demo of DOMINO 7 was shown a graphic with comparisons.
At the moment we have DOM 6.5.5 FP2 on WK2003 standard edition (HP SAN)
We use both, mail and db applicatiion

I supposed that AIX was the best, but I would install Domino on OS win, I have not know how on UNIX
Probably “iseries” could be the second choice?!

That’s the beauty of Domino - you can install it on all major platforms. If you have Windows expertise, then put it on Windows. If you’re a UNIX guy, use that. It’s great because IBM gives you the choice to use the platform with which you’re comfortable.
