BeginInsert screws up RTL field

I am fiddling around with a rich text lite field trying to change the color of text in the postsave event.

My latest idea is to remove and replace the text with some text that is the right colour.

However as soon as I use the methods

Call body.BeginInsert(range)

Call body.EndInsert

It screws up the field. When I say ‘screws up the field’ I mean that I can not enter text via the keyboard, nor can I paste anything in (i recieve an invalid RTF data on the clipboard error)

Does anyone know what is going on ?

Subject: Does your company still use Midas

I know a few years ago, you folks used our Midas Rich Text LSX, and I am not sure whether you still do (or if you are still at the same company). If so, this would be much easier using Midas, but only if you have it or want to buy it.

have you found a solution to your problem as we are having the same problem with our rtl fields as well.

You’re using an old client - have you searched the fix list, or tried a newer client?
