I had a heck of a day yesterday. We lost one of our data centers for about six hours during the heart of the workday.
One of my biggest problems was that the Notes Client didn’t automatically switch to the clustered server for most of our applications (including mail). The people who were not successful were the ones using the Bookmark bar.
To fix everyone… I had to figure out where their “Workspace” tab could be found and have them work from there. I swear there were about four different locations for the Workspace button in R8 Basic.
Has anyone else had this issue with clustering and the toolbar? Was it a problem in R6-7 (We usually have such great “uptime” I can’t recall).
Any suggestions on how to fix this so it doesn’t happen the next time?
