Bad Tool to Give Users?: Deleting Image resources from Mail File

I just noticed an action in the Mail file of View ==>> Image Resources.

I do not know that this is necessarily a good tool to provide end users with since they could create havoc with a mail file design and then say “I dunno how that happened” and will cause a fuss until the next design refresh.

How did this tool come to be in the template or is it only available when the designer client is installed as well (I will be testing that tonite)?

Subject: And why is it so much better than the ugly view in the Properties box in Designer???

Subject: *Because they probably don’t have Designer

Subject: It works for any database (including this one) But Add and Delete are greyed out if you don’t have design access.

Right, but most organizations give Manager access to mail files (rightly or wrongly), so this is a pandora’s box waiting to be opened.

Hope that users never see that selection and do not train them on it when training for ND6:-)

You make them editor !

ND6.x does not require a user to be manager anymore for things like enabling/disabling OOO.
