This is probably something simple, but I’ve searched this and the 4.5/5 forums and Notes help files but couldn’t find it.
Using the search bar in the Notes Client (6.0.1 on WinXP). First symptom was that searches returned no results (zero documents found) when I know there are docs in the view that have the value being searched.
Created FTI. Discarded the view index and rebuilt. Neither helped.
View in question has only docs where Form = “Source”. Switched to view containing this form and others. Here, searches will find docs with other forms, but not “Source” docs.
Finally, in just playing around with different searches back on the original view, I’ve found that I get all or nothing.
“timothy” returns all 10 docs (my name is in “$UpdatedBy” on all docs)
“contact” returns all 10 docs (I can only find it in 7 of them)
“hours” returns all 10 docs (I can only find it in 8 of them)
I’m baffled. Any troubleshooting tips or solutions out there? Thanks.
