Bad one but very urgentg ,,how to multiply two fields

I know its somewhat foolishness , in my table there are 10Rows and 3Columns . i have to get result in the third row through multiplication but its not working . the first two fields are number and editable and the third one is also number and computed .

i checked my formula in another way that i have created 3 fields named as txtno , txtval , & txtitem .

txtno & txtval are number and editable fields but txtitem is number computed field . for the txtitem field i have written the formula

val1 := @If(@IsNumber(txtno);txtno;0);

val2 := @If(@IsNumber(txtno);txtval;0);

val1*val2.

its working fine but when i change according to another fields name it will not work .

& if i want to subtract than how subtraction will done.

i am in need of formula plz its very urgent …plzzplzz…-

Shouldn’t your formula read something like:

val1 := @If(@IsNumber(txtno);txtno;0);

val2 := @If(@IsNumber(txtval);txtval;0);

val1*val2

I changed the second line (@IsNumber(txtval) instead of @IsNumber(txtno)).
