Backward search crashes Client

I have a reproducible problem:

We archive mails older than 30 days. As far as Notes is concerned, the archive files are on the mail server (via a directory link - they’re actually on a SAN).

If I do a backwards search on someone’s calendar, I can click find on each match but as soon as I go back 30 days the client will freeze and then I’ll get an NSD error and the client will crash.

I can recreate this on my PC searching two different calendars and on another user’s PC.

This is obviously caused by Notes not finding anything previous in the mail file being searched on but it shouldn’t crash - right?

Does anyone know if this is a bug? Or has anyone come across this before?

Thanks,

Emma.
