I have only three users (out of a hundred) that EVERY time that they log into Notes, send their backup ID file to the backup mail-in database: this happens also several times a day, without any change in their ID…
I tried to give them a fresh ID, taking the latest backup ID stored in the mail-in db, but this didn’t stop the problem!
What else can be done?!?!
Subject: Try 8.0.1 instead, Try using one of this IDs on a different machine (and vice versa) to check if the error is depending on the id/server combination or machine/server combination. Hava a look at local notes.ini on anything strange
Subject: Re: ID Recovery Enabled
It appears that ID Recovery is forcing the shipment of these IDs to the mail-in database. Are these three users certified under an OU that is unique of the rest of your user base which may not have any current/updated ID Recovery information?
Subject: no solution yet
These three IDS have the same certificate as all others; I also tried a recertification (which was successful) but the problem is still there…
I suspect the only way to solve the problem will be to delete and re-create the person and their IDs… do you see any other solution? and what implication can this have on their mail file and server access?
