a have an agent that runs non-stop and checks if there are documents to work-on in a specific view. The agents does a getallDocumentsbykey to get the docs to work-on. When i change the values of an existing doc to appear in this view, the agent sees the document and grabs-it. It then saves the document so it does not appear in the view anymore.
If i do this a second time whith the same doc, i can see the document in the view, but the agent does not see-it.
This is very weird … and yes, my agent has a view.refresh …
Subject: backend vs frontend problem
Hi

It is not clear enough. What do you mean by “if I do” ?
And where is your agent running (local or server) ?

Hi Yannick !
If i do this a second time means that i change the values of the doc (change the form from ‘a’ to ‘b’) so it appears in the view.
The agent runs on the server.
Additional info : I just made a couple of tests and it seems that the agent sees the document in the view but thinks the form ist still ‘a’ (does not see the changes). Added the delete doc line and now seems ok …
Set collectionExpDB2 = MyView.getalldocumentsbykey(“O”)
Set doc = collectionExpDB2.getfirstdocument
While Not (doc Is Nothing)
Print doc.form(0)
Delete doc
Set doc = collectionExpDB2.getfirstdocument Print doc.form(0)
The first print gives me ‘a’
the second print gives me ‘b’
is there a ‘caching’ property that is new … we just migrated from notes 5 to 7 ???
