How to avoid the dates from 25 december 2006 to 5th january 2007 . how can this be validated .

In formula language you can test this as follows

@If(Date >= [25/12/2006] & Date <= [05/01/2007]; …; …);

You can use the @Day and @Month functions to get the part of the date that you want.

Your logic will then be

If month=12 And day >= 25

Or

month=1 And day <= 5

then failed validation
