I have some code running on a client’s site which it reading data from Excel Spreadsheets. It works fine on most PC’s but on a handful of them they usually (but not always) get an automation object error at the line:
Set xlSheet = xlBook.worksheets(“Data”)
where Data is a valid tab in the excel file
It’s an odd one as it’s not happening all the time. Is there any way of interrogating either Excel, or the error to find more information about what’s going on?
