My manager asked my to automatically setup a rule to forward all the mail from a job college to another e-mail address (my manager´s address). This is because my manager suspects on him.
What is the best way to do it? I do not want to use rules, because he can realize he can be watched… I thought about mail jurnaling, but mail journaling only stores copies of mail (does not forward them)… …
I image this kind of “user supervision” should be usual, so it should be an easy administrative way to do it… does it ?
I think there are many ways to do this, here you have 2:
You can add your manager as a reader or editor in the mail database ACL. If you want to be more cautious you could put him in a group and add that group in the ACL. In this way your manager should have to open the mail database and see the mails in there.
Create an agent in the mail database, and in the “Trigger” property select “After new mail has arrived”, select “Simple action(s)” and clic in the “Add action button” in action select “Send mail message” choose you manager as the recipient and check “Include a copy of the document in the message” and that’s it.
