Automatically deleting junk from mail.box

I work for a company that sits behind an external firewall that supposedly blocks most of our spam, unfortunately a lot is left to get through and the clog up the mail.box on my server.

Aside from getting a better firewall (not my choice) does anyone know of any ways to either:

-delete mail from mail.box automatically after a certain period of time

or

-Create rules on the server like those which can be created by each user at their mail box, that can block addresses specified by me.

Thanks

create a schedule agent and a hidden view in the mail.box. Group the documents in the view according to your need. Schedule the agent to delete the document in that view with simple action commands.

Don’t accept messages for non-existant users into your Domino server, and the mail.box problem will automatically go away.

In the configuration document, go to Router/SMTP tab, Restrictions and Controls tab, SMTP Inbound Controls tab, Inbound Intended Recipients Control section. Set “Verify that local domain recipients exist in the Domino directory” to Enabled.

This should solve your problem.
