Automatic Signature file

My company is considering the idea of using Excel/Word macros to create a standard HTML signature file. It will be named the same and saved in the same location on all clients. Is there a way to program a button that I can send to users that will select the correct options under Tools> Preferences that cause Notes to use the signature?

Is there a way to program an agent to do the whole thing?
