Hi all,
We have a lot of roaming users in the company.
Some users, for some reason a large amount of them seems to be newly registered users, don’t replicate automatic on notes startup or notes shutdown. I know this because they complain about their ever changing bookmarks.
Replication stubs are created in the replicator. The server has a roaming folder containing a folder for each roaming person with journal.nsf, bookmark.nsf and names.nsf.
I thought I solved the problem by checking the option “replication is enabled for this location” inte the replication settings in the local adress book. It worked out fine for a while because suddenly the question popped up when closing Notes.
However, the next day when these users sits down at another computer the same problem appears and obviously the setting was only local.
It has to be a way to make replication enabled for all computers. What would else be the purpose of roaming? I can’t go to 100 notes clients and make this change. Sure, I could make a startup agent. But this should work and for many users it do.
Does anyone have ideas about this, any thoughts are welcome. I tried to search to forum about this matter but I can not find a good solution.
Thanks / Nick
