We have a number of support tools that utilize non-standard URL content types (i.e. other than http://, https://, ftp:// etc.). The Notes help says that only a handful are supported by default: http, https, gopher, news, ftp, and perhaps one or two others.
It’s extremely cumbersome to have to manually create hotspots in mail messages for all the various OTHER types of URLs we use. Is there way (either through configuration or an agent) to add other valid URL types to this automatic hotspot generation?
For example:
We use the telnet handler:
telnet://my.server.com
which is registered correctly at the OS level; if we manually create this as a hotspot it does indeed behave correctly. We want it to happen automatically.
