Hello,I have managed to install the Notes Client automatically using the ConfigFile= parameter in the notes.ini file. And it works very well, but only when the user has write permission on the Config file. Any ideas why this may be? The Config file is not modified in anyway; as far as I can see it is only read. So why do the users permissions need to be set up so they can write to the config file.
However when the config file is on a diskette in the A drive, it works fine, even when the little safty switch has made the diskette read only.
Any ideas what is going on here?
