Automated Appointments Possible?

Is there a way to create an appointment on someone elses calendar based on the contents of a field on a form?

Thanks for the response. Would you mind providing an example to get me on the right track? Is this possible in formula language or would scripting be the way to go?

lotus script will be required, a quick search in this forum returned some examples to get you started, good luck.
