I have been asked to create a utility database to be used by the technical support personnel ( not the Lotus Notes administrator ). The CERT ID and passwords should be hidden from the support personnel and just by clicking a button and entering some basic information they should be able to create new IDs and recertify expired IDs. I have seen some examples of the code but I am not sure where the CERT ID has to reside and how to encrypt or hide the CERT ID password from the support people. Could any one please provide some guidance. Thanks

Don’t waste your time creating something yourself. Check out ID Manager a www.helpsoft.com. It’s very inexpensive and does a great job. FYI - I do not work for Help Software but we do use their products and we love them.
