hii have an id xyz@xyz.com, whatever mails comes to this id has to be autoforwarded to another id, but i want a copy of the mail to be present in xyz@xyz.com inbox too…how to do this in lotus notes, tried in person document, its autoforwarding but no copy of the mail is present in xyz@xyz.com.please help…

R u trying to forward within lotus notes or to send mail outside your domain?
One of the methods:-
Within Lotus Notes:
1)Create an agent say “Autoforward”
2)Schedule: After New Mail Has Arrived
3)Run: Simple Action
4)Action:Send Mail Message
5)To: your destination address
6)Sub: whatever
7)Check “Include copy of document”
8)ok
U shd be all set…

If you are within your domain you could use the Simple Action "Copy To database"This will preserve the original message’s From: and other fields.

hi satish, thanks for replying, but i want to forward the mail to id’s outside the domain say yahoo.com r indiatimes.com.
i did follow the steps u have recommended, it happens but the message is not forwarding, one more important thing is i want the mail to be present in the inbox even after autoforwarding.

The procedure I gave will allow you to forward outside ur domain.
On creating the agent:
1)Create an agent say “Autoforward”
2)Schedule: After New Mail Has Arrived
3)Run: Simple Action
4)Action:Send Mail Message
5)To: your destination address(yesh@yahoo.com)
6)Sub: whatever
7)Check “Include copy of document”(This will allow the message to forward)
8)ok
Save the agent and go to agent view, enable the agent by checking it.
The above procedure will leave a copy of message in Inbox.
I am using similar agent and is working fine…
