Auto reply agent replied for processed messages

Hi,

We have a common mailbox shared managing by a group of users with an auto-reply agent developed ourselves. Generally it works fine, however it has an intermittent problem that now and then it will send out auto replies for those old processed mails. As those senders are our valued customers and questioned us why they have received such auto-reply from us for the mail they sent to us a few months ago. It doesn’t reflect good to the company. Therefore, will appreciate if someone can share some lights on how to resolve the issue.

Here provide some information for the auto-reply agent. It will be triggered “After New Mail has Arrived” and it is using “Reply to Sender” found under “Simple Action”.

Subject: Before new mail arrives

Try changing your agent to ‘Before new mail arrives’. This ensures that each mail will only be processed once.An ‘After’ agent will also process emails that have been modified.

Subject: Is there any size limitation to mailbox for auto reply agent to run?

Is there any size limitation for a mailbox in order for auto reply agent to run? I have an auto-reply agent created in a mailbox with current size 10GB stopped running sometime last year. Not sure what is the cause, the signer of the agent has proper rights, could it because of the mailbox is too big? If like that, what should be the rational mailbox size that user should maintain?

Hi, I had an “After new mail has arrived” agent in the mail.box but when trying to get the document with collection.getfirstdocument … nothing returns.
