Author not in author field but can lock the doc

Hello,

I am wondering why users who are not author on a document can lock this document(by trying to access in edit mode)? Is it a known bug? has it been fixed?

For example :

  • userA is not author on docD.

  • userB is author on docD.

  • userA open docD, then doubleclick in docD. docD is still open in read mode because userA is not author.

  • userB try to open docD in edit mode → message 'UserA is locking DOCD"…

En français pour ceux qui le comprendrais mieux que mon anglais:

Les utilisateurs qui ne sont pas auteurs sur un document peuvent quand même le vérouiller, pour cela il tentent d’accéder au document en édition (même si cela ne fonctionne pas car ils n’en sont pas les auteurs) en double cliquant dessus par exemple, et cela suffit pour vérouiller le document. Lorsqu’un editeur va sur le document en question il a le message ‘doc déja vérouillé par…’

Quelqu’un a t’il connaissance de ce problème?

Are you absolutely sure, that userA has author access to the database, only? Just to make sure, that there are no additional hide-when-formulas, that make the doc look, like it’s in read mode, when it actually is in edit mode?

Thank you for your response Harkpabst,I’m sure :

-userA has author access to the database,

-UserA can’t open the doc in edit mode.

-UserA is not author in the doc.

-My document just contains one editable field without any hide-when-formula.

-Env : client 6.5.2 and server v7.0.2.

Any idea of why userA can lock all the documents in which he’s not author?
