Author field not recognized with Lock R6.5.3

Hello,

I have a database with 3 replicas and a Lock administration server designed. Everything works fine BUT I tried to do some tests with a simple document adding an Author field and a Reader field inside.

If I add my name on both fields it looks like the Author field is not seen on external replicas. I cannot edit the document anymore on a replica, WHEREAS I can do it on the Lock Administration server replica.

Even after the replication is done.

In fact as soon as I fill in a Reader access type field in the document I cannot edit it anymore on replicas whereas I can do it on Central lock server.

Anyone can help ? Regards

Are the ACLs identical on all three replicas?

Also when you populate the Authors and Readers fields, is the value (seen through document properties) the canonical format of the name?

Really thanks for your answer Mark. I finally found an issue that works fine.

Even though I was manager on all replicas, I added the role [Supervisor] in a Reader access type field on all documents. This solved the problem and does not enter in conflict with the lock mechanism anymore. That works fine !!!
