The log is showing repeated ATTEMPT TO ACCESS DATABASE errors from one server trying to access the replica mail file on another server. The server has manager access however, so I am baffled as to why this would happen. Anyone have any ideas??

check the acl entry for the other server and make sure it’s not set to a false usertype like Person or Person group. If should be of type Server, Server Group, Mixed Group or unspecified.

If you are trying to do it from a back-end agent I don’t think you can. You need to open a local replica.
