Hi,I just upgraded a single Notes server for testing. Now when in iNotes the paper clip for attachments doesn’t show when creating New e-mails in iNotes only for all iNotes clients i.e. Full, Lite etc. The Notes FULL GUI client works just fine. Has anyone seen this before?

What browser version and OS are you using? This is version 8.5.2. Note that the paper clip is up on the new message action bar not down by the RTE.

Another thing is where is the “Search” bar. It no longer shows as well.

Both of these settings will remove the attachment icon for both full and lite mode

For the search bar do you have full text index enabled in preferences?

No not using them. Is there a setting in the Configuration doc or the Server doc that turns this on and off?

Figured this one out finally. In our address (NAB) we had a policy called Outlook. Not sure why we had it or for what reason but we deleted the Policy and recycle the Notes server only. That fixed the problem. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I know exactly where the clip should be. I originally updated my mailbox from the 8.5.2 template. I even created a blank.ntf template and updated original mailbox with it hence clearing out all data design. I then replaced design and still not clip. I then created a brand new mailbox and I have the issue. So maybe my template is bad or corrupt. What design elements can I go in via designer to remove then update again?? Also can I send you a print screen and my template so you can have a look?
