Error message: Ignoring portion of document that uses a feature from another version of Notes
Problem: I add a large number of attachments to a document, by placing
them in a richtext field. After saving and closing the document I try to reopen
it and get the above error message and the document doesn’t open. When I delete
the richtextfield in the background, I am able to open the document and the
added attachments are still there, but ofcourse no longer in the richtext field.
When I add the same list of attachments to another type of document, also by
placing them in a richtext field, I do not have any problem reopening the
document in Lotus Notes.
Cause: The richtext field in the problem Form is included in a Form
Header, the no-problem Form does not have a Header.
Solution: Do not include the richtext field in a Form Header (5th tab
Form Properties).
