We have Domino 6.5.3 FP1 server on Solaris and Windows platform running in our organization.
Our mailing System is working smooth except attachment receving problem from one particular domain (they have Mail Exchange server).
We are not receving attachment only when they sends forwarded mail (with attchment) to our domain. When they sends new fresh attachment mails, we received them with attachment.
Now considerig this issue, we have modifed one of our user person’s document as Notes Rich text (instead of keep in senders format) for incoming mail format. and when we asked opposite domain to send forwarded mail with attachment to this user whose person docu. we have edited as notes rich text. This time user has received the attachment.
So we have taken decision to edit the person documents of all users who need to receive attachments from opposite domain. Problem is somehow resolved.
But still one or two users among them whose person document we have edited as Notes Richtxt, still they are not receving attachments from opposite domain.
I have a question like, we are facing this issue with only one particular domain, what could be wrong at their end? which we can bring under their notifcation. or is there anything else, need tobe modified at our end?
