Attachment path in RTF?

Is there a way i can know the attachment path the they uploaded in to the RTF ?

I am composing a NotesMIME email and trying to attach a file in the RTF, the NotesStream class requires the physical path to the file to process it ?? is there a way to trick the notesStream class to get it from $File ??

help needed… any suggestions appreciated…
