We have a workflow app that we use for sending numbered e-mail communications to users on iNotes. Some of these communications have attachments (mostly excel and PDFs). Recently users have reported that the contents of these attachments is garbled - or in a few cases that it’s actually a different file inside than what the name would indicate.
If they forward that message to someone else, the attachment opens just fine and the contents are readable. If that person forwards the document back to the first recipient, they can open it fine at that point.
I remember something about attachments getting corrupted when going out to the internet if your address book was corrupted - but these messages are all staying internal.
One of the servers that this workflow app runs on is getting low on space - could that be part of the problem?
Any ideas appreciated.
