I am using Lotus Notes client 6.5.4 on windows XP. My Notes client has problem in maintaing the focus of the lauched attachment. When I double clicked the attachment (e.g. a Word document) in a Notes email to bring up the attachment properties, then click the Open button to open the attachment, the attachment will lose focus and switch back to the Notes client after about 10 seconds. When I click on the attachment to focus on it again, it will still lose focus after sometimes again, which is quite annoying. Are there any direct or indirect methods to solve this problem? Is it possible to fix the problem at the client side? Thanks!

I am having a similar issues except it is not an attachment, but a link contained inside a notes document to a file on the network. The file opens successfully, but after a few seconds, the user reports that focus is unexpectedly switched back to the Notes Client.
Anyone else have this problem?
