Attach file in a mail by LS agent from IFS OS/400 file system

Hi,

I am trying to attached a file to a email which is generated by LS agent from IFS OS/400 file system but it is showing “error: 76-Path not found”.

This agent is runing from a button and it is in Web Client. The agent properties are Trigger: On Event, Run As Web User and Agent Runtime Security is “2”.

I am reading the User name and password from a document within this notes database and the user have full access on that folder in OS/400 file system.

The Code:

pathName$ = strGlobalPathName + “/” + strGlobalMSGID

If Dir$(pathName$, 16) = "" Then

strAttachFound = "0"

Else

strAttachFound = "1"				End If

It is failing in the line

         If Dir$(pathName$, 16) = "" Then

Any ideas and suggestions are very much welcome.

Your agent is going to assume the path is relative to the server’s Data directory. I don’t know of any way around that.
