Assigning manager access in database ACL fails

I have manager access to a database. I can go into database/access control and assign manager access to another user and then click on OK. When I log on as the other user that I just assigned manager access to, their “working” rights to the database won’t change. They have the updated “manager access” displayed correctly in the ACL, but, effectively, they do not have manager access. I have never had this happen before. I have run updall and fixup, thinking it might have been a corrupt view in the database … with no improvement. Adminp runs every 5 minutes but I am still having the problem long after that. Any ideas? Thanks. Mike

Are you using a local replica when logging in as the other user? Are you making the ACL changes on a local replica?

Hi Stephen… no, the changes are being made on the replica that’s on the administration server. Mike
