I’m trying to configure an agent to set the internet password for my users, but I don’t seem to be using the right value or field. I used ‘HTTPPassword’ and also ‘dspHTTPPassword’, but the password did not change. This is all I need to implement iNotes (DWA) and I don’t want to manually assign internet passwords to 1000 users. Any help is appreciated.

Robert, if memory serves me correctly, it takes about 10 or 15 minutes for the new password. You can however, modify this value from within the Notes.ini file.
But my question is: why set the passwords? why not just force the users to change their own passwords? Of course you can use an agent to step through all/selected person documents and set these values, as even email the new passwords to the users, but again: why not just force the users to change their own passwords?

Thanks for the reply, do yo know what the value is within notes.ini to change that value?. Regarding your question of why, as it is 75% of our users don’t have internet passwords set,; therefore they wouldn’t be able to change it if they don’t have one in the first place. Once there is a password there, I can force them to change it but that can’t happen right now. That’s why I am workin on an agent to change that value in the person’s document, but I’m having troubles locating it. Do you know which value to change??..Thanks again.
