I want to assign an Explicit policy to a user to be registered using JAVA API.
I am calling setPolicyName method on Lotus/Domino/Registration class before actually calling the registerNewUser methodo on the same class.
The result of calling the setPolicyName is that the policy is visible on the Assigned Policy field in the Administration tab of a user document but the policy does not get executed as expected. (I am trying to sync internet and lotus client passwords using policy)
In Lotus Admin client 8.5, I do not see the users being assigned to a policy under Assigned members and groups tab but the users which are assigned policy using the Lotus domino client are seen under the same tab.
Is there something that I am missing? Some flag or something?
