ascii character in the subject line causes view/folder to not display in the browser.
“Fw: Whats missing in misfires?”
2 mail files affected. I set one to “show documents one page at a time” and it would display each page until it attempted to display the page that contained the message with this character in the subject line. Hour glass would show. No error messages in the browser or on the server.
Other mail file, set to “show all documents as a scrollable list”, would show zero documents, empty folder/view, for the Inbox and All Documents.
Notes client not affected, but shows the character in the view and folder column.
Remove the docs from the mail file and problem is resolved.
