Are these typical interface via browser,i.e features of Notes Client that difficult to substitute

I experienced fill in data using designer but with browser interface. Firstly, the box is very small, I’ll say 1 inch x half inch, there are 4 columns x 10 rows of such field. I have problem of entering, as I can’t see what I have entered.

Than, there is problem of saving, it either did not save, i.e appear as empty data, or did not overwrite what I have just entered, I suspect something to do with close, and save and close button (i.e the design elements).

Or these can be improved with better programming?

Problem is that , the save issue is an intermittent problem, people who don’t face it did not recognise such problem, people who experienced it having difficulty to convince other parties.

I wonder since my company also have notes client, why the need for browser interface in the first place? Considering majority (95%) has notes client access? Only those outstation might have problem, but shouldn’t the design to consider the benefit of the majority, rather than at the expense of some good features in client which is difficult to obtained in browser interface.

Not to mention, the rich text features, bold/underline , printscreen which is so much easier to be done in notes client.

Any of your personal experience/ feedback to share is appreciated.
