Hi all,
I’m trying to perform a an archive operation wihtin the notes client of a user. When I try to archive the selected folders and their contents all I seem to create is an archive of the folders without any of the emails.
My plan is to create an acrhive of the folders with their emails and then let another user have access to them.
I’ve had a search but can’t find a thread which discusses the problems I’ve tried to outline above. I’m hoping someone in this forum can help point me int he right direction.

Subject: Archiving folders
OK I am guessing you have configured the Archive document. You are only Archive views / Folders etc (ie part of the archive selection).
You run the archive by just going ACTIONS >ARCHIVE >ARCHIVE NOW?
This will archive all views that you have set to archive. Make sure that you dont have a DATE selection greater than the age of the oldest email. Make it older than 1 day etc.

how are you selecting folders? you need to select the documents you want to archive, if they are in folders then they will appear in the folder(s) in the archive.
