I am having a problem with one of my custom dbs. The progress bar says its archiving, then after a small amount of time, I get the standard message “Archiving completed successfully - 0 docs archived, 0 docs deleted”
What seems to be the problem? I’ve tried archiving a number of different ways. I’ve tried not modified in a year, month, both in specific folders and just all in the db. Also tried selecting a small amount of docs and just doing those manually with the criteria on archive settings set to a select list. The trigger I am using is simply going to the file / database / archive option. I’ve also tried from Administrator doing compact and archive. Nothing seems to add to my archive db. I have archived in the past and already have an existing archive db for this db. Is there a disk space problem here? I think I’ve got enough on the Domino allocated disk to handle it, but is this a problem?
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

I am still having issues with this, but does nobody have any thoughts on this? I have tried many different combinations here and can’t seem to figure it out. I’ve made sure there is no access problem with me but it ‘feels’ like it’s not doing the archive for some reason to do with access. Even if I select a doc it still won’t archive it.
Any thoughts at all?

I wonder if there aren’t any responses here because I’ve failed to give enough detailed info. Well, I’m desperate here as this problem has been around for ages and I’m now getting really annoyed with it and want to find a solution. So here’s some more details, in the interests of helping someone to help me.
The database that I am trying to archive is 961 MB (1,007,943,680 bytes). It’s got 3439 docs in it. It has been archived in the past, but long ago, when we had different servers. So it already has an archive db on 2 servers, as it’s replicated on 2. I can’t archive it on either. I can’t archive it from one to the other server. I can’t archive it on the server, or from my client machine. I’ve tried compacting both reps of the db and both reps of the archive db - no errors, processed fine. When I archive, there are no errors to diagnose. I get the message “Archive completed successfully: 0 documents archived. 0 documents deleted. 0 documents truncated.”
Hope someone can steer me in the right direction please.

Well, it was a simple one in the end - after lots of messing around! I didn’t initially think to look at the ACL of the archive dbs. They were created before I started at this company and whoever set them up didn’t give decent ACLs. There were no admin accounts in the ACL, only specific names. So I found the person who’d been added to the list, logged in as them, reset the ACL to include Admins, and now the archive runs fine.
