Archiving all e-mail

Is there a way to archive/backup ALL e-mail which passes through the Domino server? My mgr wanted to know if there’s a way to backup the mail, but if I just do a backup it will only catch the mail on the server that night. If somebody gets an e-mail during the day and deletes it, we won’t have any record of it.

Is there a way to make a continuous spool of all e-mail? And, can I do it for send AND received mail? If not, does anybody know of a third-party solution to work with Domino that will do it?

My only other idea is to run a sendmail server in front of Domino so I can spool the mail off it.

We ‘catch’ mail before Domino works with it, allowing for logging and backup, using the spam\filter\web controlling tool web\mail marshall

Subject: Archiving all e-mail with Purepath

Take a look at Purepath - beyond great anti-spam features, it can log all incoming and outgoing messages in a secure repository for detailed message journaling. Completely flexible, you can even set automated processes to permanently archive at regular intervals to other storage systems (i.e. Tivoli SM). Great for compliance and policy enforcement.
