Archiving - a question

In my mail file (on server), only if I have designer/manager access I’m able to archive it. With other access level I’m not able to archive it. With Editor access when i try to archive, I get “You do not have the required access rights to the source database”. I got this message while executing Call uidb.EditArchiveSettings() / db.archiveNow()However with editor access, when I tried archiving from my local replica I’m able archive it.

Can any one explain me why I’m not able to do archive in the server copy. Is it becoz of any server document settings?

It is because the ACL rights given to a user are enforced on the server but not locally.

In server copy of my mail fail, Why I’m not able to archive with editor access?.
