Subject: Re: Archive Issues

Hi Hariom,

I’m just curious if you can simply perform a File–>Database–>Open, browse to this database, and manually open it? Try copying this Archive database to another workstation and try to manually open?

Regardless if it is an Archive database or not, you should still be able to Open it because it is simply a database. If you cannot open the database, then the focus should be placed on the Database and not necessarily the Client installation.

If the database opens without issue, ensure you user’s Client is configured to have Archiving enabled and specify the current database for the Path to continue with the current Archive database.

Hope this helps Hariom!
