When i tried to archive emails manually from the Notes Client to the mail server it gives the following error.
“notes error: you are not authorized to perform that operation in archiving”.
I am using the server based policy to archive from local client to mail server.
Although the user have editor rights to his database.i also enabled the archive log on server but no clue found.

Note that archiving requires a minimum of Editor access with delete rights for mailfile owners (as determined by the “Owner” field in mail preferences) – and a minimum of Manager access with delete rights for anyone who is not the mailfile owner.

Did you initialize the archive database on the server ? The user may not have the rights to do that.
