We have a user who accidently named the archive file with l_ prefix instead of a_ and created log archive database. So, when you click on the database, it shows up as log and not as a mailfile.
Now, I wasn’t able to duplicate this issue. Even if I created with l_ prefix archive name, it created archive database instead of log.
We’ve tried changing the prefix to a_ but still shows up log.
My question, is there anybody here who had this type issue before and if so is there way to change to archive database. We would hate go back to our backup…There is just too many messages involved in this…
