Archiv option lost in mail folder

Dear,

i have upgraded my mailfile to 8.5.1 and now i dont see the archive option when i choose a folder.

When i am in the inbox the archive option is available.

With the 8.5 template the archive option is also available.

What can i do ?

Is this a bug in 8.5.1 ?

Hi, will there be no enhancement for this particular function? We are moving to 8.5.2 and we were advised, apparently by IBM, that this will be a feature/function that is available on 8.5.2. While we do see an option to archive when you select documents within a folder, there is still no option to archive a whole folder.

Hi - In pre-8.5.1 templates, the Actions - Archive… menu options were active when a folder was selected – but none of these actually acted on the folder (instead, they acted on the currently selected docs within the folder). So we stopped showing these actions when a folder is selected, since they don’t actually apply. You can still use the same functions when you have documents selected, instead of a folder selected.

Unless I’m misunderstanding, and you’re finding that you don’t have archive actions available in specific personal folders? If that’s the case, you will need to upgrade the design of your folders (select “Upgrade Folder Design” when you apply the current mail template to your mailfile).
