Aproach of CF on 6.5

Wich one wil be the aproach Lotus will folow for CF on 6.5 ?

Wil be have still the confusin CF1, CF2 etc concepts ? What wil be the next 6.5 launch ? (6.5 CF1 or 6.5.1).

Personally, I do not like the word “Critical FIX”. Most of the executives of my company think that words refers to a buggy product. Is lotus/IBM going to keep up with the CF1 approach instead minor revisions notation ?

Subject: CF only if neccessary

I think IBM only releases a CF if neccessary. A regular, scheduled maintenance release will not have the CF notation.

If a serious bug were to be discovered in ND6.5, and an interim fix would be released, it would be ND6.5 CF1. If nothing happens, the next maintenance release will be ND6.5.1 as planned.
