Is it possible to apply rules to existing messages? I have existing messages in my Personal Folders(about 10000 of them). I would like to apply the rules those messages so that i can organize them. Any help on how to do this? Usecase could be1) I moved/converted mail from another system and moved to my other system which has notes. Now i would like to organize them into folders.
I have mail that i already organized in a certain way and later on i decided to organize in a totally different way(structure).
I do know that notes mail rules do not apply on existing docs. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys think of doing something in the future releases. I have given you usecases already for why i would want to do that. Asking an end user to write custom code for functionality is not the appropriate answer to solve the problem. I do understand you can pretty much write custom code to do whatever you want and use it with notes. But these are common functionality. If someone asks for feature specific to their company, yeah i do understand that they have to write custom code. This feature that i request is not specific to a company, it is common to all users.
