When trying to view a Notes database via IE 6, we keep encountering two popups:
The first is being caused because it is a secure connection, and it says “Do you want to accept the certificate from web site [name of our site].com for the purpose of exchanging encrypted information?”.
Then before any Domino generated applets can run it says “Do you want to trust the applet distributed by International Business Machines Corporation?” After clicking yes on both of the popups, the application works fine.
The end user will get confused if they get these pop-ups. These things only happen in more recent versions of IE, a 6.0 version that was eight months old worked fine. Does anyone know if we can install a patch or change a configuration in IE that would make these pop-ups go away? Thanks.
