Dear all,
When I use the appenddoclink to produce a doc link in a email body, it doesnt work. It shows “(Document Link: xxxx)” where xxxx is the caption used for the doclink. Any solution for me?
P.s. I have used the sample codes found in the help, it doesnt work too.

yes, it has default view. it is a new account created by the standard 8.5 template.
So strange! That is not working in my email body while it works on my colleague who has received the same email.

This is just a guess, but you cannot make a link to a new document - i.e. One that has never been saved. Doclinks need a UNID, which is assigned on the first save.
